What We Do
Thank you for your interest in becoming a member of Black and Gold Boosters. Black and Gold exists to provide support to students, teachers, staff and administration by focusing on Academics, Activities, Arts, & Achievement.
- We provide enrichment opportunities and enhance the high school experience for ALL students by raising money for SLOHS. Scroll down to see examples of what we have funded in the last three years.
- Teachers and club adviser's are able to request B&G grant money to fund a variety of activities in their classroom or club.
- Funds are also provided to administration to enhance the SLOHS campus.
- We work towards building a stronger sense of community by keeping parents informed and highlighting events and volunteer needs on campus.
How We Do This
Memberships: Funds raised through our membership drive help to provide a quality educational experience for SLOHS students. As a 501(c)(3) non profit, 100% of your membership dues are given directly to the programs that most benefit our students. Becoming a member has its benefits; recognition at our events and on our website.
Fundraisers: We host several fundraisers throughout the year, including the Color Blast Fun Run, poinsettia sale, and Golf Tournament. These events not only raise much needed funds, but bring the school community together.
